Test Application Process

How to apply for agri-fishery testing:

  • One test application is needed per machine and per model.
  • Submit the duly filled-out AMTEC Test Application Form (AMTEC-OP-F1), together with the following attachments: any document indicating the machine specifications, Waiver for Machine Specifications (AMTEC-OP-F16), Data Privacy Consent Form (AMTEC-OP-F18), and Waiver for Engine Disassembly (AMTEC-OP-F15) if engine testing.
  • One duly-signed Data Privacy Consent Form (AMTEC-OP-18) only is required per company, not per test application.
  • Wait for the approval/disapproval of your test application within five (5) working days. An AMTEC Representative will contact you for further instructions.

AMTEC HOSTS HOR AND DOST OFFICIALS

The Agricultural Machinery Testing and Evaluation Center (AMTEC) hosted officials from the House of Representatives (HOR) Committee on Science and Technology and other Committees related to Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources, for a scientific ocular visit among facilities supported by DOST-PCAARRD (Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development) last February 22, 2024.

AMTEC-UPLB GEARS UP FOR LABORATORIES' ISO 17025 ACCREDITATION

A two-day training course on PNS ISO/IEC 17025:2017, also known as the “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories,” was held in hyflex setup at the AMTEC Conference Room and Zoom, on November 24, 2023, and January 26, 2024. The training aims to prepare the Center and its laboratories as it plans to apply for the international standards’ accreditation.

AMTEC joins AMMDA’s Golden Year Anniversary Celebration

The Agricultural Machinery Testing and Evaluation Center (AMTEC) took part in the 50th founding anniversary of the Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers and Distributors Association, Inc. (AMMDA) last January 25, 2024, at the Luxent Hotel, Quezon City. An induction ceremony was also held for the association’s newly elected members of the Board of Directors (BOD).

AMTEC undergoes training in Machine Shop Operations

Four of AMTEC-UPLB’s staff attended a training on Machine shop Operations organized by the Metal Industries Research and Development Center (MIRDC) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) from January 15 to 19, 2024, at the MIRDC-DOST, Taguig City.
